Summary
Location Alarm does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Location data
Location Alarm uses your device's GPS to measure the distance between you and the pin you set. When you arm an alarm, location may continue to be processed while Location Alarm is in the background or your screen is locked. Background tracking stops when the alarm triggers or you disarm it. Location is processed on your device only. It is never sent to us, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.
Data stored on your device
Your alarm preferences — vibration strength, sound, and notification settings — are saved locally on your device so the app remembers them. Your pin and radius are kept only while the app is open and are not stored. Deleting the app removes the saved preferences.
Notifications
When you reach your stop, Location Alarm sends local notifications to alert you — even with the screen locked. If sound or vibration is enabled in your settings, the notifications include those too. Notifications are generated on your device and are never sent to a server.
Third parties
Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your IP address may be visible to their servers, as with any website that loads images. Location Alarm does not send any additional information.
Children
Location Alarm is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
