Summary
Location Alarm collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics and no third-party trackers.
Location data
The app reads your device GPS to work out how far you are from the pin you set. Once an alarm is armed, it keeps reading your location while the app sits in the background or your screen is locked. That stops as soon as the alarm fires or you disarm it. All of it happens on your phone. Your location is never sent to us, saved on a server, or shared with anyone.
Data stored on your device
Your alarm preferences (vibration strength, sound and notifications) are saved locally so the app remembers them next time. The pin and radius live only for as long as the app is open and are never written to disk. Deleting the app deletes the saved preferences with it.
Notifications
When you get near your stop, the app posts notifications on your phone, screen locked or not. They carry sound and vibration if you left those on in settings. Nothing about them touches a server.
Third parties
Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, so their servers see your IP address while the map loads. Location Alarm sends them nothing else.
Children
The app is fine for any age. It collects no information from anyone, children included.
